Spinnwon, our number one: why we read the rules before the banner

A bright offer tells you what the casino wants to sell, while the clauses tell you what you would get.

The short version

Judge Spinnwon by its terms, not its banner. Before registering, locate the wagering multiple, top bet, last day, excluded games and withdrawal cap, check the licence in the register of the regulator it names, and save the terms page. We have not verified any particular offer or whether it is open to your province.

Spinnwon heads our ranking, and the fairest way to describe it is by showing how we read an offer. A welcome package can look like a feast and still be tough to clear if its conditions are tight. Our online casinos for Canadian players lays out the whole field in one sitting.

We do not print Spinnwon's bonus amounts, since offers change often and may differ from one province to the next. Instead you get the sequence we follow on the live site, so you can repeat it yourself in a few minutes.

Which clauses decide whether a bonus is worth it?

ClauseThe question it answers
Wagering multipleHow much must I stake before bonus money becomes withdrawable?
Top betWhat happens if one wager is bigger than the limit?
Game contributionDo tables and live games count as much as slots, or at all?
Last dayHow many days before the bonus disappears?
Withdrawal capWhat is the most I can take home from bonus winnings?

For a worked example in dollars, see /en-ca/field-notes/the-rollover-treadmill/.

How do spins fit into the picture?

Spins are usually tied to named games and carry their own wagering on whatever they win. Look for the value of one spin, the game it applies to and the deadline. If a page waves the number of spins but hides those three facts, ask support to spell them out. More on the format in /en-ca/bonus-offers/free-spin-deals/.

Whose licence is it, and does it cover you?

Copy the company name and licence number from the footer, then search the register of the regulator named there. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission, for example, publishes a permit holder list and a logo certificate check. For an Ontario-authorized brand, the iGaming Ontario directory is the place to look. A licence from elsewhere does not turn into permission from your province.

What should you keep before you deposit?

Screenshot the offer page, the full terms and the date. Promotions get edited, and a dated image helps if support later quotes other conditions. Hold on to your deposit and withdrawal confirmations as well.

Adults only: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Gambling costs money and can become a problem. Keep to a budget you set in advance. We write for information only; nothing here is legal or financial advice.

Questions readers ask us

What counts as a fair wagering requirement?

No single figure is fair for everyone, and we do not quote Spinnwon's. Lower multiples, longer deadlines and fewer excluded games help you. The detail that changes the most is whether the multiple is applied to the bonus alone or to bonus plus deposit, since that decides the total you must stake.

Do table games help clear a bonus?

Often only a little. Many casinos credit slots in full while table games contribute a small share or nothing at all. The terms should carry a contribution table. If you cannot find one, ask support in writing which games count before you accept the offer.

Is it fine to say no to a bonus?

Absolutely. If the rules cap your bets, lock your withdrawals or nudge you to play longer than planned, you can decline the offer and play with your own balance. Pick whichever route fits the limits you set before you came.
